The topic that I chose is on and about the extraordinary Boring Company. The Boring Company is a company based around underground personal and public transportation that revolutionizes the future.  The company was created by it’s founder Elon Musk ( the CEO of Tesla and Founder of SpaceX) in late 2016, as he was sitting in Los Angeles traffic and contemplating strategies to fix this pressing issue all across the world. He came up with the idea of being able to take your personal vehicle into a metro like tunnel and travel at extremely high speeds to anywhere across a city or area, diminishing commute times by an outstanding amount. Since its creation the company has almost solely been funded by Elon Musk and his various entities and has made some progress but is still very far away from changing the world of commuting and transportation. The company after being created has come across a few problems that has come about over its history, from technological issues to funding the company to say the least has a long way to go. On the other side of the things the company is also making large strides and surpassing the expectation. For example   In may of 2018 the company had built its first test tunnel in  Hawthorne,California. In the tunnel the cars were able to drive autonomously at 90 mph and 116 mph autonomously. Having progress like this along with the numerous amount of cities funding the project the Boring Company has an exciting future.This Forum is going to go over a few topics and analyze the different factors that are going to apply to the success or failure of the Boring Company.
